KYZYLORDA MUSEUM OF LOCAL HISTORY

The museum was opened in 1939. The museum exhibits about 5,000 different exhibits, and 39,000 of them are in spare rooms, and you can also see a large number of items found during scientific excavations and research. The museum tells about the culture and history of the Kyzylorda region.

CENTRAL MOSQUE OF AKMESHIT SYRDARYA

The central regional mosque “Akmeshit-Syrdarya” opened its doors in 2008 on the Muslim holiday of Oraza Ait. The mosque can accommodate more than 2,000 people. The total area of the mosque is 5,257 hectares.

MOSQUE OF AYTBAY

The Aitbay Mosque is the oldest architectural monument. The building was built in 1878. The building of the Aitbay mosque was built in 1878, with the funds collected by the residents of Perovsk (Kyzylorda), the main benefactor and initiator of the construction of the mosque was a rich merchant, a native of Bukhara, Aitbay Baltabayev, who received the necessary amount. Subsequently, the mosque was named after him.

HOLY KAZAN CHURCH OF THE ICON OF THE MOTHER OF GOD

The Holy Kazan Church of the Mother of God was established on October 15, 1855. The church building is located in the city center. In the front part, a bell tower is built. Previously, the church had its own plot of land for growing a vineyard and a vegetable garden, at this time there is a city park of culture and recreation. The church is included in the list of historical and cultural monuments of national significance. In 1855, the temple was a tent, later turned into a building built of mud bricks. Then the building was dismantled, and a new one was built in its place in 1890. It was consecrated on December 6, 1896.
